Our Commitment

Airus Advisory is committed to ensuring that airusaccounting.com (the “Site”) is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We believe digital accessibility is a core element of professional service, and we work to remove barriers that prevent any user from accessing the information and services on the Site.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice in its accessibility guidance under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and adopted in most state and international accessibility frameworks.

At present, the Site is partially conformantwith WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate any non-conforming elements.

Accessibility Features Implemented

The Site incorporates the following accessibility features:

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmark elements (header, navigation, main, footer) on every page.
  • A “skip to main content” link that allows keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • A logical heading hierarchy on each page, with a single H1 and properly nested H2 and H3 elements.
  • Descriptive text alternatives on meaningful images and decorative images marked appropriately for assistive technologies.
  • Form fields with associated labels, required-field indicators, and autocomplete hints to support assistive input.
  • Color contrast for body text, headings, and primary interactive elements that meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
  • ARIA attributes on dynamic components, including the primary navigation, mobile menu, and interactive forms, to communicate state to assistive technology.
  • Honoring of the operating system “reduced motion” preference, which suppresses non-essential animation and smooth scroll behavior.
  • Resizable text up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality, and a responsive layout for mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.
  • The HTML “lang” attribute set on every page to help screen readers select an appropriate voice and pronunciation rules.

Compatibility

The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of the following assistive technologies and browsers, used together:

  • Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows.
  • VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
  • TalkBack on Android.
  • Standard keyboard navigation on all platforms.
  • Voice-recognition tools, including Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Voice Control on macOS and iOS.

The Site relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. JavaScript is required for interactive components such as the navigation menu and the contact form. Where JavaScript is disabled, content is still readable, but some interactions may be unavailable.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may exist. We are aware of the following and are working to address them:

  • Independent third-party audit and assistive-technology user testing have not yet been completed. We intend to schedule both as part of our launch and ongoing accessibility program.
  • Downloadable resources (PDF guides and templates) may not yet be fully accessible. We are reviewing each document for tagged structure, reading order, alternative text, and color contrast, and we will update files as remediation is completed. If you encounter a document you cannot access, contact us for an accessible version.
  • The Site uses third-party fonts and may, in the future, use third-party analytics or embedded content whose accessibility we do not control. Where third-party content is added, we will work with those providers to ensure it meets accessibility expectations and we will note any unavoidable gaps here.
  • Some animation effects on interactive elements (hover and focus states) may have minor timing variations. When the user’s system “reduced motion” preference is enabled, animations are substantially suppressed.

Assessment Methods

We assess accessibility through a combination of methods:

  • Manual review of pages and components against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.
  • Keyboard-only navigation testing.
  • Automated scanning using browser developer tools and accessibility linting integrated into our build pipeline.
  • Targeted testing of interactive components, including the primary navigation, mobile menu, and forms.
  • Color-contrast verification of brand color combinations against text and backgrounds.

We will publish updates to this statement as we expand our testing program, including any independent audit and assistive-technology user testing once completed.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two (2) business days and to provide a substantive response or remediation plan within ten (10) business days.
